- On 30 April 1910, King Albert I officially opened the Museum of the Belgian Congo, which would become today’s AfricaMuseum. It’s no accident that the museum is located in Tervuren, as you will learn from a promenade illustrated by nine information panels between the church of Tervuren and the AfricaMuseum.
- Start: Visit Tervuren (Markt 7B) or AfricaMuseum (Leuvensesteenweg 13)
- Distance: 1,5 km
A free map is available at the visitor centre or the AfricaMuseum.
